Itinerary: 3 days shared Marrakech desert trip

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Tinghir

Your Shared 3 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech begins at 8:00 AM with departure from your accommodation or near Jemaa el-Fnaa.

We drive across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), with panoramic stops for photos.

Our first major sightseeing stop is the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou. This ancient fortified village has been featured in films such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. Enjoy a guided walk through the kasbah and free time to explore.

Continue to Ouarzazate for a photo stop near Atlas Studios, then travel through the beautiful Valley of Roses, known for its annual rose festival in May.

Arrive in Tinghir or Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we head toward the dramatic Todra Gorge, where you will walk between towering canyon walls reaching up to 300 meters.

We continue through Berber villages and pass via Erfoud, known as the capital of fossils, before reaching Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara.
