Day 1 – Marrakech to Dades Valley

Approx. 6–7 hours driving (with scenic stops)

Your 4 days Marrakech to Merzouga group tour begins with an early departure from Marrakech. We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with panoramic stops along the way.

We visit the UNESCO-listed ksar of Aït Benhaddou, one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages. After free time to explore and lunch nearby, we continue toward Ouarzazate.

In the afternoon, we follow the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” into the beautiful Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and lush oasis landscapes.

Overnight in a traditional guesthouse in the valley.

Day 2 – Dades Valley to Merzouga Sahara Desert

Approx. 5–6 hours driving

After breakfast, we travel to the impressive Todra Gorge. Towering canyon walls rise up to 300 meters, offering time for a relaxed walk along the river.

We continue through desert landscapes and traditional villages until reaching Merzouga, located at the edge of the golden Erg Chebbi dunes.

Late afternoon, you ride camels into the Sahara Desert to reach your camp. As the sun sets over the dunes, the desert turns gold and red — one of the true highlights of this small group Sahara tour in Morocco.

Evening at camp includes:

From here, the scenery changes dramatically as we head toward Nkob near the volcanic landscapes of the Jebel Saghro mountains.

Nkob is peaceful, authentic, and rarely included in standard desert tours. It offers a glimpse into southern Moroccan life away from tourist crowds.

Day 4 – Nkob to Marrakech via Draa Valley

We pass through Ouarzazate again before crossing the High Atlas Mountains back to Marrakech.

Arrival expected between 6:00–7:00 PM, depending on traffic and weather.
